Story Of My Life

My name is Pinka Satria Aqsa, I am 19 years old  and currently a third-year student of  architecture program, Syiah Kuala University, Aceh, Indonesia. Being a creative and inspire person is my goals, I have a great interest in the field of arts, drawing, painting, designing or creating something unique.  It is all started when I was kindergarten. My mother enrolled me in one of drawing competition and it was continued until my Junior High School. I had the opportunity to represent my province in the national drawing contest. The most important memories when I was elected as the only Junior High School students from all over Indonesia for a luncheon with Mr. Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, President of the Republic of Indonesia. It was certainly an initial motivation for me to continue and develop my passion on arts. No limits in my life because I believe that explore arts is how we understand and interpret life in a more beautiful.

Based on my education background as a third year student of architecture who acts as the designer of the building, I must be very sensitive to the context of beauty. Beautiful is appears from the arts, and I'm sure if the arts is very flexible and can be applied in our daily life, without the art life would be so bland.

In the last 2 years  I got many experiences in my life. I was chosen as an ambassador of Planned Generation  in Aceh Province. For me this tresures position gave Humanity core values and guiding me to understand many things. My home town, Aceh Besar is not evenly distributed in terms of education, I am giving a try to share with children about all the things that I have. I tough some of subject especially arts (drawing/painting). Teaching drawing is common lesson for some people but for me it has a lot of meaning, my main desire is that they can describe their ideals through visualization, until finally they get it.

My main objective not only to enrich my knowledge in the field of Arts but also share knowledge about BATIK as indonesian traditional Art, “Batik” is the arts that has high artistic value and has become part of the world cultural heritage that has been recognized by United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) as Indonesian culture. With this intention I believe God will give me the best. Finally, I will use these core values and my understanding, not only in helping others but also to show others how they can understand others to help others. So that as one, together we shall help society.
